Giuliano Cappelletti
Architect and designer Giuliano Cappelletti completed his architectural at Milan Polytechnic School and graduated from this school. In 1970, he established his first design studio, Udacanturiodesign, with Enzo Pozzoli. In 2008, he continued his business as Giuliano Cappelletti & Partners, and in 2012, after his graduation in Milan and his experience in many Italian and international companies, he brought his son Gabriele to join his team. In 2012, together with his partners, he opened an office in Shanghai, where architecture and interior architectture are under development.
This office, provides services in the fields of project management, interior design, product design and architecture. The office participates in architectural and design competitions and also many exhibitions. Some of his works; for example, ‘Levando’ kitchen sinl produced by ABC Cucinei were deemed worthy of awards in important competitions such as ‘Selezione del XVI Compasso d’oro’ or ‘Premio 5 Stelle Tecnhotel’, ‘Premio Donatella’.
Cappelletti has collaborated with major design companies and continues to do so. The purpose of the studio is to offer special products from design stage to the production stage by blending the craftmanship that shapes the northern Italy region with its functionality, aesthetics and new materials that it offers to the furniture design industry. Together with his teami he has gained great experience in product design, interior design and architecture for years.
Gabriele Cappelletti
Gabriele Cappelletti, an architect and designer, completed his architectural education at Milan Polytechnic School and graduated in 2012, with a diploma in sustainable architecture.
He joined the Giuliano Cappelletti & Partners design office in 2012, where he began to work in the fields of interior design, product design and architecture by developing cooperation with international projects in Shanghai and Libreville.
At the same time, he cooperates with many furniture design companies and many craftsmen with close relations. The skills and experience he gained during these years, when he worked as a craftsmeni played an important role in revealing his own design approach.
He has won many awards with his works, including BeMod sofa exhibited at the Hybrid Architecture and Design event held within the scope of Fuorisalone 2013, the ComOn Design Competition organzied by Confindustria Como, where he participated with the Shard table exhibited at the Local to Global organizasition held at the Milan Triennale, and the Brianza Design Competition, where he participated with the Pat cabinet, exhibited at Salone del Mobile in 2015.
