Box in a Box Idea Magazine

A wide social network where Turkish and international designers come together…

Yalın Tan Jeyan Ülkü Interior Design developed the interior space concept “Box in a Box” for Ersa’s Istanbul showroom. The goal was to create an innovative, engaging and dynamic space where the customers could spend some pleasant time while they were in the showroom. The idea was later taken to another level with the desire to incorporate interactive areas in a digital world. It morphed into a communication project that combined Ersa’s long history of craftsmanship with its intellectual and cultural nature. Envisioning a wide social platform that brings together Turkish and international designers, the idea led to the birth of BoxinaBoxIdea.com, the first exclusive social network of designers in Turkey. The project continued with the creation of Box in a Box Idea magazine, embracing different genres over time. Music, photography, and video installations were supported, students were provided with opportunities to develop, and artists found a channel to express themselves.

Bringing together amateur and professional artists from different disciplines ranging from architecture to industrial design and fashion, from graphic design to photography and music, Box in a Box Idea charges ahead with the aim of creating the largest virtual culture and arts library in Turkey.
